Women in Christ Honor Mrs. Green

Women in Christ honored Mrs. Green for Mother’s Day and the role she played during the Civil Rights Movement. Mrs. Green is the wife of the late Dr. Calvin C. Green, who petitioned the Virginia State Court to integrate the schools. The case was successfully heard by the Federal Supreme Court 50 years ago.
