Corporate Fast and Prayer
Purpose of This Fast
+ To humble ourselves, destroying the spirit of pride
+ Individual Repentance, National Repentance
+ Intimacy with God
+ That the glory of God consumes our nation
+ Signs, miracles, and wonder in 2020
+ We hear God’s instruction clearly
+ Financial, mental, emotional, physical breakthrough
+ Expose and destroy all plots and plans of the enemy
+ Angel army protection
+ That God gets ALL of the glory
+ We receive a clear strategy for the remainder of 2020 going into 2021
+ Prayers for our nation
+ Open our eyes so we don’t miss what God is showing us
+ And anything else Holy Spirit reveals to us
More Details
+ Keep a journal. Document all dreams and visions. Document what you’re sensing. When you’re fasting, your spiritual senses will heighten and you’ll hear God clearly.
+ Keep expectations high. Expect God to show you something and pray that any hinderance to you seeing clearly is removed.
+ Prepare. Make a list of everyone and every situation that you have not forgiven. Ask God for the faith to forgive anyone who has wronged you. Forgiveness is ESSENTIAL for answered prayers.
+ Stay low. Stay out of gossip, arguments, drama, recreational conversation, etc.
+ Make God a priority. Avoid TV/social media, or any other distraction that’ll lesson your spiritual focus.
+ Read the scripture first thing in the morning as breakfast. We’re reading the book of Daniel. Commit to reading for one hour every morning. Make declarations and say them out loud throughout the day. You have authority to speak to mountains and command them to be cast into the sea. Use it.
+ Begin your day in praise and worship.
+ Mediate on God’s word all day (i.e take a scripture and repeat it out loud over and over again all day long).
+ Invite the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you during this time. This is the hour that we want to fully understand the ministry of Holy Spirit and utilize our powerful helper to accomplish what God wants us to accomplish on this earth.
+ Ask God to use you. Ask Him how to influence your family, friends, community, nation, etc.
